My most treasured role in this world is that of being a father and a husband. This is my family at the time I conceived Magic Pencil Girl. I would make up stories for the girl in this picture, my daughter, Lisa, about things that related to how her day went and challenges she may have had. I told hundreds. I wrote just twelve for the book. Here is my family at that time:

Patric Peake, educator and counselor, has been principal of a continutation high school for at risk teens, and an elementary school.
He is currently on faculty of the University of Santa Monica and works with students on their masters projects in psychology.
He has given workshops around the world in self-esteem, team-building, parenting, and drop-out prevention.
